Biography

Dr. Reshma Sharmin

A young, successful, enthusiastic, encouraging person, Dr. Reshma Sharmin is a very talented consultant in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has been a motivation for infertile partners, a mentor for her fellow doctors and a guardian of her patients during their illness. She has always thought of patient’s well-being whatever the situation is. She undergoes fund raising program for poor and financially unstable patients. She runs a foundation for cancer-hit people who almost lost their hope for survival. Apart from the social works, she teaches MRCOG 2nd part students worldwide.

 

She was born in Raozan of Chattogram, from Bangladesh. She completed her basic education from well-known institutions of Chattogram. Then she got chance to complete MBBS from SSMC, Dhaka. She didn’t waste her time in spending vacations after MBBS. Rather, she received many trainings from home and abroad for betterment of her knowledge. She is also an MRCOG and FCPS in OBGYN.

 

She is now working as an infertility consultant at Imperial Hospital Ltd, and as OBGYN consultant at Parkview hospital Ltd and CSCR hospital Ltd.

  • Trainer in Covid-19 Training Panel (শ্বাসের জন্য আশ্বাস) – a global knowledge sharing & fund raising platform to support Covid-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.

  • Completed six months Post Graduate Training in Cardiology at NICVD (Dhaka) from 01 January, 2010 to 30th June, 2010.  
  • Completed Three months training on Certificate course on Diabetes at BIRDEM from 02 January, 2011 to 03 April, 2011. 
  • Completed three weeks training on Adult Resuscitation from Anesthesia Dept., Chittagong Medical College & Hospital.
